What to expect after you reach out to us to capture your day!
We know how incredibly hard it can be finding & booking a photographer & videographer, I would even say it might be the hardest part of the booking process, it can take time and energy and a lot of thought to know what you want for your photos, because it’s so important that you do book based on your vibe with the vendor as well as the editing style they have. If you are here and interested in our booking process, Cody and I are so grateful and want to make this process as easy as possible for you and to take some of the weight off your shoulders so you can take a deep breath and know you are in good hands.
Your Enquiry
This is where our journey together starts, our friendship, our laughs and our incredible memories we will create. Once you are ready to send us an enquiry, we would love to hear as much as possible in your initial enquiry! We will obviously get to know you both over the course of us working together but we love reading a little bit of your story in the initial enquiry!
We love to hear everything from how you met, funny quirks about you both, if you have any pets, what you do for work and basically anything you feel like sharing! Knowing your funny quirks can help us tell your story, so don’t leave anything out.
On our enquiry form at the very bottom, we have a box for you to let us know all the wedding details, so make sure to include if you have booked a venue, your location, your date, your vision for your day and everything else! You don’t have to have everything organised, we would love to hear from you whether you have picked a date/venue yet or not. We usually will open our books
12 - 18 months in advance so we have plenty of time to plan and get to know you.
Phone Call
From your enquiry we will send you back a reply within 24-48 hours, we try to get back to you as soon as possible as we know how exciting it is looking for a photographer & videographer! We will send you through our pricing packages for you to have a look through, if throughout the process you have any questions at all, we are more than happy to answer so there is no confusion. We will also send you through some of our photography galleries & videos from previous elopements/weddings so you know exactly what a full day looks like with us.
In this email we will also include a link to schedule a call with us, it has all our available times so it’s easy for you to pick when works for you, we would love to speak with you both so make sure you are both avaliable and on the call with us! Our call is basically to chat all things wedding, life, love and everything else.
Contract & Deposit
After our phone call and you have let us know you want to move forward with the booking process, we will send you through out contract & invoice for our 50% booking deposit we require. Our contract covers everything from our work outline, timings for gallery, cancellations, travel etc so it’s important you have a good read through everything in the contract.
After we have sent you the contract & Invoice we give you 7 days before it expires, we want to give you time to review all of the information so you don’t feel rushed.
The Planning
And here we are, once you have signed the contract & paid the 50% deposit you can relax because you have the most important part of planning done! (without being bias hehe).
From here, we will send you through our wedding/elopement guide as this has lots of helpful information that we have put together to help with the process, and it really does help so make sure to take advantage of it!
We will also then create a pinterest link for us all to contribute to when you see something you love! It doesn’t have to be photography inspiration, it can be anything from location, florals, attire or decor! It’s just fun to make essentially a mood board of the day. if you already have one, we would love to be invited to it!!
After booking we will check in with you consistently and organise phone calls for every 3 months, we really want you to think of us as friends, so you can message us with absolutely anything. We have shot loads of weddings before so we know a thing or two, so please take advantage of that!
We also have great recommendations when it comes to celebrants, florists, venues and so much more so if you are struggling to find a particular someone, definitely let us know!
Planning your elopement/wedding can be made so much fun and doesn’t have to be stressful, just make sure you have booked good vendors who can help you throughout the process because we have done it before a million times over. Our goal at the end of the day is to make sure you enjoy your day and make the most of it.

Photos - For Elopements/Weddings, 4-6 weeks & for couples 1-2 weeks.
Videos - For Elopements/Weddings, 6-8 weeks & for couples 1-2 weeks.If there is ever any sort of delay, I will communicate that with you.

The short answer is no, editing is my creative outlet and I find that editing is 80% of the job and what you are paying for! This is why it is really important you pick a photographer you love!

Yesss I do, I am based in New Zealand/Australia and feel so blessed to call both these countries my home but we have shot in Europe, Fiji & Hawaii, We will follow you anywhere in the world.

I require a 50% payment when booking me! The final amount is due 1 month before your elopement/wedding, or 48 hours before your couple shoot.

We deliver both photos & videos on a high quality online link, it’s important to make sure you download them & put them somewhere safe as soon as you get them! We keep copies of them as well but you always want to make sure you have a copy for yourself, especially after your online gallery is taken down (it explains this more in our contract). We recommend using a hard drive and drop box so they are backed up twice.

Absolutely I do! I get so excited when clients want to have prints on their walls/albums, so much better than digitally. Once i have delivered your final image gallery, you can order large prints directly through there! I use a beautiful company called Queensberry here in New Zealand, they are high quality and take lots of love and care when creating these prints.If you want an album, we can go through all options together & craft your perfect album!

My partner Cody, I mention him a lot throughout my website, he will always be my only second so you can know 100% you have quality photos from both me but also my second.He is also my Videographer!
